We escaped to Wallace for our Anniversary this last weekend. Our dinner plans for Saturday was to just nab an appetizer and a drink at as many places as we could, to see what Wallace had to offer. Cogs was our first stop, and it was so cozy and fun wenearly called it a night there. Food and drinks were awesome, but the icebreaker cards and the atmosphere really just made it ahappy space to date night it, or just chill with friends. We actually went back after a couple stops and closed them downlol Best part about going back... they have a fabulous cigar selection!! we dang near missed it somehow ??????????????? we thenmet the owner and fell all the more in love!

Gourmet to go! After a great dinner the night before, we stopped in to pick up some packaged meals for our road trip to Roosevelt Lake. Man! When we unwrapped our goodies at our campsite we were delighted with some real treats. A meze plate with awhipped cream cheese tatziki, homemade pickled peppers and hummus with peta an outrageously delish chicken pot pie, an Italiansub, and the gracious chef added a super YUMMY strawberry cream cheese pie for us. This added a whole new dimension to the glamping concept!

Came here for lunch on Sunday. They had a specific menu with not a lot of options on it. The prices are good, but only because the portions are small. The sandwiches were pre made mac cheese and the home made soup/chili were good. Everything else ispretty much just pre made and okay. The potato salad was super crunchy like uncooked potatoes. It wasn't very flavorful. TheMayberry Muffletta was very dry and hard to swallow and they didn't have any mayonnaise or anything to help it. I'd recommendgetting soup with the sandwiches. The Frito Pie was good, but very small. An order of that with the mac and cheese are notenough to fill you up. I did enjoy their selection of ciders and beers. I also had the huckleberry lemonade.. which was justyour typical fountain lemonade with some store bought syrup. Overall, this place has great potential. It's beautiful, greatdrinks, and yummy food when it's fresh. But I can't say I'd recommend dropping by on a Sunday.

FOOD TO DIE FOR! We shared the churched up shrimp cocktail and then the martini lobster mashed potatoes to start they were so great we just couldn't stop eating! Next I had the warm mushroom salad TO DIE FOR and my husband the Mayberry Muffalettawhich he still insists was the best sandwich ever. The atmosphere was happy, warm and bustling with live music but thefriendly service never faltered. This place truly is the center of the universe!

This place changed hands again this summer. The place no longer has a kitchen, but the owner is doing amazing things on the outdoor cooker. I had a jerk chicken sandwich, hubby had the pulled pork. Both were delicious with homemade bbq sauce and cole slaw. Drinks were outstanding. We'll be back. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
