Stopped in briefly for a refreshment. Very historic hotel that has been somewhat renovated in the last couple of years. Wonderful old world, relaxed atmosphere and worth a visit. Did not try a meal, but they did look good on other customers tables. View all feedback.

We spent the weekend in Wallabadah, a small town you may not be familiar with. During our visit, we decided to stop by the local pub for a beer and a meal. Despite the challenges of COVID lockdowns, the pub is still striving to stay afloat. The menu offered a delicious chicken carving, salad, and chips, with gravy available upon request. While the menu was more limited than usual due to current circumstances, the quality of the meal was exceptional. The chicken carving was fresh and not pre-packaged. We encourage you to support this small local establishment by dining in or getting a drink. The locals are friendly and welcoming.
If you're traveling and in search of a delicious meal and warm hospitality, I highly recommend stopping by this large country pub. You won't be disappointed with their amazing carved chicken and excellent service. This traditional country pub offers a delightful dining experience in every way.
I had a pleasant and relaxing dinner with a few drinks. The ambiance was cozy and the staff were lovely. I will definitely be returning.

Signs outside say open for counter lunch. Stop here for food etc. On our way through to Tamworth we passed these signs so decided to have lunch there on our return trip the following day. Small sign on door says the open at 3pm. Not...sure how a counter lunch goes at 3pm... lady inside came out and told us they were closed and pointed to the sign (which obviously you can’t read from the road). She told us we should’ve called first!! Do yourself a favour and go up to the Hub at the post office. Great steak sandwich and lovely helpful staff.
