Eritage Resort And - Walla Walla

My fiancé surprised me with the stay and I was impressed from the moment we walked in. The staff, food, rooms and property were amazing! Definitely want to go back to spend more time exploring the winery.

BEST STEAK EVER. Amazing Waygu hamburger! Impeccable, friendly service. Excellent wine! I had the Cab Sav. I could not recommend this place more! It's fabulous!

Simply magical! Out in the middle of the vast golden wheat fields, up pops a lush, green vineyard with rolling rows of delicious fruit and the most unexpected little Inn-complete with a top-rated restaurant and Chef! We loved every minute of our stay! From the moment we stepped out of our car to the moment we drove away, we felt welcomed and oh-so pampered! We were very fortunate to stay in Bungalow 17~it really is the best! Gorgeous, breathtaking sunrises greeted us each morning, and the unique position of the room provided the perfect vantage point across the lake while offering complete privacy from the main building. The bed was ultra comfy! The Nespresso coffee machine, a lovely treat. Everything was modern, exceptionally clean, and spa quality. Just a short hop to the pool and restaurant where Happy Hour plays out daily. The included breakfast was truly spectacular and made to order! Taco Tuesday with crunchy fish tacos was just delish. Just 12 minutes from downtown Walla Walla, so super easy to pop into town for dinner. The awesome sunsets on the way back make the journey completely worth it! Warm, friendly staff is happy to chat and answer questions about this unique and exceptional destination. We even met the Winemaker and heard all about his craft! Eritage, we won't forget you! We stayed here 7/12-7/14/23 in room 10 and thought it was one of the nicer resorts we have been too. Room 10 is in the main building on the second floor. It's about 10 to 12 min. from Walla Walla (tip take Rte 125 to Bergevin Springs Road, all paved roads). Parking is in front of hotel. Our room was large with a seating (couch, table) area, an additional chair, a large balcony facing north west and overlooking the lake and vineyard. The balcony had a lounge chair and a table with two chairs. There is a Nespresso machine and a small fridge (no microwave but if you want hot water for tea the front desk will bring you some). The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has double sinks and lots of counter room, there is a deep soaking tub in the sink area. The toilet/shower area is a separate room. The shower is large and has good water pressure. Breakfast (which is excellent) is included in your stay. Restaurant We ate dinner and breakfast here twice. Breakfast was great, there is a choice of 6 or 7 items and everything was prepared to order (note no pancake or waffle options). Dinner was very good (lobster risotto great lobster, good risotto, the Wagu burger was very good). The Caesar salad was good but different (whole leaves, light dressing and bread crumbs I considered it a deconstructed Caesar), I'd recommend the the butter and bread appetizer, it was excellent. The desserts (choc. tort and cheesecake )were very good. It is a fine dining experience and priced accordingly. The service at dinner was good night one and very good night two. The breakfast service was excellent. The front desk staff (check in and out)were great. We would stay and eat here again.

The appetizer of butter and bread was nice. I ordered the Bibb lettuce salad with chicken, which I found to be quite good. The salad ingredients were fresh, but the dressing was overly acidic, so I had to ask for extra olive oil. Two of my companions ordered the fideos pasta with shrimp, which the waitress had highly recommended. However, we all felt the pasta was overcooked and quite bland. One friend had the Caesar salad with shrimp and enjoyed it, though. Overall, the restaurant is quite far out of town and not worth the journey, especially when there are better dining options available nearby.
