Our go to Chinese buffet and we live in Baton Rouge. Real good sushi for buffet standards. The rest of it on point. No complaints.

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE GOING!!! Not sure how it had a 4.2 rating How can there not be negative stars? Headed to Baton Rouge and the husband was in the mood for Asian and sushi. He found this place with a 4.2 rating so let’s go there. He really wishes he had read some of the reviews first. We go in and are quickly seated. We go over to the Buffet and grab some food. Some of the items were mystery meat or something. Who knows what road kill they might have found. The frog legs tasted like cinnamon. There was a roll that looked like a spring roll and well, it had some form of meat in it and we couldn’t tell what it was. We questioned everything we ate. I think maybe the fried shrimp was the only palatable thing on the buffet. The mei fun, which is normally one of my favorites, was disgusting. I’m not sure what in the world the flavor of it was but my husband saw the look on my face and knew he wouldn’t eat it. Spitting out food into a napkin is something I don’t do but I did. So did the husband. The feeling we had in our stomach after leaving wasn’t pleasant whatsoever. There was rush to get to a bathroom soon after. It’s the second worst Chinese buffet we’ve ever had. I’d suggest not ever trying it. It’s horrible. My husband kept calling it foo king after we left. I asked why. He said because it was “foo king” horrible. Find somewhere else. Save your stomach the issues.

Foo Chow's Asian Restaurant Was Great Today And We Got Served By Our Favorite Waiter. Mr.Bruce!!! The Only thing I Wish They Would do Differnt is more variety in Sushi ? Like Sashimi and Open the Mongolian Grill Back up Again.

Typical Chinese buffet. Food quality was good. Choices were good. Sushi rolls were a little on the smaller side, not really a negative thing just an observation but they tasted very good. Sushi choices were better than some buffet places.

Went tonight for the crab legs. Paid $118 for a family of 4. Crab legs were overcooked, bland, and would not peel. Rest of the food on the buffet was okay but obviously not worth $24.99 a person. Not recommended if you are looking for crab legs.

**Exploring Local Cuisine: A Mixed Bag Dining Experience** Nestled within a bustling area, this restaurant presents a buffet-style dining experience filled with a variety of Chinese dishes. While the food is generally decent, it lacks standout qualities, with highlights like salt and pepper chicken drawing praise. Service is satisfactory, but improvements could enhance overall satisfaction. The atmosphere is average, failing to leave a memorable impression. Parking is ample and convenient, making access easy. While some diners enjoy a good experience, issues such as unavailable staple items and mediocre desserts suggest that the restaurant has room for growth in both food quality and service.

For the $60.00 we spent in this restaurant. It was disgusting To find a roach crawling on silverware. Nasty! Second Chinese restaurant in Walker La area had roaches by they're buffet. Turned my stomach. The soda was filmy looking. I won't eat here again.

Found a roach in our noodles and when I brought it to the lady all they did was take the plate. Never took the noodles from the buffet and charged us over $70 for contaminated food! Will never go back ever again!

There buffet bar was so hot the steam burned my wife's hand as she tried to get the food. On top of the steam burns the food is just OK. For a family of 4 with 3 drinks and a water was 75 dollars. If I had known it was going to be so expensive I would havewent to a better quality establishment for the same or cheaper price. I won't be back.

**Restaurant Review** **Meal Type:** Dinner **Price Range per Person:** $20–30 **Food:** ★★★ The food was decent but not exceptional. **Service:** ★★★ The service was satisfactory, though there is room for improvement. **Atmosphere:** ★★★ The overall ambiance was average, lacking a distinctive charm. **Parking:** There was plenty of parking available, with free parking in the lot. Overall, it was a satisfactory dining experience, but I believe there is potential for enhancements in several areas.

The food is incredibly delicious, and there's a wide variety of Chinese dishes to choose from. I dined in for lunch, and the cost per person was between $10 and $20. Both the food and service earned a perfect rating of 5, and the atmosphere was also outstanding, receiving a solid 5.

The buffet is quite good. However, the hibachi grill is no longer in operation. In terms of parking, there are usually available spots. I dined in for lunch, and the price per person ranges from $10 to $20. There is plenty of parking available, with options for free parking as well.

On a positive note, I tried the salt and pepper chicken for the first time and found it to be excellent. The chicken on a stick was served without the stick but was incredibly flavorful. The coconut shrimp was the best I've ever had at a buffet! However, I had to deduct a star due to my experience with the ice cream and frozen desserts. I sampled two items: a popsicle and an ice cream sandwich, both of which were freezer-burned and dehydrated. This suggests that these items either don’t sell quickly or aren’t rotated properly during inventory restocking. I checked a few other packages, and they felt similarly unappetizing. While desserts aren’t usually the main attraction at buffets, I think they would be better off with a simple soft serve machine and cones instead.

I had a craving for egg rolls and Chinese food, so I decided to try the takeout buffet here. As I was filling my container with food, I noticed they didn't have any egg rolls available. I mentioned this to one of the staff members, and he assured me that they would be ready soon. However, after waiting for 10 minutes, they still hadn't arrived, so I ended up leaving without them. It's surprising that a Chinese restaurant would run out of such a staple item. Overall, I would rate my experience one star, and the food a three.

I've dined there several times, and I have no complaints. They offer senior discounts and special deals on certain days, making it a great value for anyone looking to enjoy a meal.

Customer beware! This past Friday was my first time returning to Foo Chow since the coronavirus pandemic began and after getting vaccinated.

I stopped by for lunch and I'm really glad I did. This restaurant has some of the best food in the area. Everything was hot and fresh, even though it was after 2 PM. Our server, Bruce, was attentive and efficient. I will definitely be returning!
