The view from the... read more We really liked the hotel's stylisation and the interior of whole building and our room itself. It is also placed on a very calm countryside. The view from the balcony was very nice especially for the sunrise and we would definitely appreciate the balcony even more in a good weather. There was also coffee and tea corner with minibar so it would be easy to refresh ourself whenever we would wanted. But don't go there on Tuesdays. We didn't know that the restaurant is closed on that day what is our fault and we didn't notice that. On the other hand noone told us, there will be literally no staff. Noone even texted us what to do after our arrival and we had to call them when we weren't able to find anyone around. The first impression was unfortunately lost. Besides that the shower drain was clogged and only one of three sockets by the bed was working.. After all of that we expected a breakfast which could make it all better, but unfortunately it didn't happen and we were disappointed again because we have had a better breakfast in the cheaper places. I think that the service should be an importat part of the price you pay for the accommodation like this but when you don't meet anyone during the whole stay I think there is something wrong. This was the most expensive night in our week spent in the Silesian region and should worth it according to all reviews. Maybe it was just a bad day to come but unfortunately I can not recommend it at all and the place definitely wasn't worth money.

I think of all the hotels that we have stayed in over the many years all over the world, this hotel is there with the best. From the moment we arrived. We were greeted by smiling, happy attentive staff. We were quickly booked in and then shown to our cottage in the grounds. The operation of the cottage, and all the amenities available were explained in detail and we were left to enjoy our accommodation. The hotel, communal areas, rooms and cottages are strongly themed without ever being tacky. The decor gives a feeling of luxury and opulence, and adds to the whole ambience of the hotel. Both my wife and myself are vegan and the hotel chefs relished. The challenge of producing bespoke food not only for the evening meals but also for breakfast. They did not disappoint. We were lucky I’m both evenings to be served by Tomasz, and nothing was too much trouble. He took time to explain the menu, I gave advice on wine as well, as explaining the history of the hotel and the Providence of the food that we were eating. He is a real asset to the business. Located in the foothills in lower Silesia about 90 minutes from Wrocław and close to the Czech border this may not be a destination high on your to do list, however, please take my word for it that this place should not be missed if you are looking for something special. Try and book one of the cottages if available, you will not be disappointed.
