Roadside Eats - Feedback

Was Ralph Gaglione at Roadside Eats a mag?
Despite what Google said about this restaurant being closed, I decided to take a chance. The atmosphere was great, and the food was even better. The double cheeseburger and onion ring basket were outstanding. It’s under new ownership, and they have a fantastic attitude. Plus, there’s a lovely bakery section! I highly recommend it. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Lunch. View all feedback.

Whoopie pie icecream is the best. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10
Its a nice blast from the past ! Definitely a great place to stop and have a bite. The burgers are great their special burgers are worth talking about! If I have to recommend anything it would be the donut burger or maybe the pulled pork on the pretzel bun. Will be back. Just watch how you sit down in the booths they aren't anchored down so you'll push it back and fall if you land to hard.

The cheeseburger was enormous and tasted fantastic! However, the onion rings were quite greasy. That said, the decor was really nice!
The decor is charming and has a delightful vintage vibe! We tried the BBQ chicken pizza and found it to be really tasty! It's obvious that they're still in the process of getting established, and we intend to come back soon to sample their burgers!
Reuben's pizza had a disappointing amount of meat—maybe just 6 to 8 pieces about the size of half dollars for $22. The burger I had before was good, but the side of fries was quite small again. The food was tasty, though!
My first experience with this place was calling, being put on hold, and then being forgotten about on hold. After 15 mins of waiting, I hung up and tried to re-call, only to have the line off the hook for the next 45 minutes. I ordered elsewhere.Today I tried it again, and went in without ordering, seeing on the menu that they have grab 'n go items daily. Unless they 're referring to drinks and chips, there was no grab and go options available, and this was at prime lunchtime, around 12:30. I ordered a cowboy burger, which is 12.99, and a tiny bit over $14 after taxes. I waited inside for awhile and got my burger in decent time. The burger comes with fries but man, I was hoping for more than 7 fries in a tiny little paper holder, especially for that price.Once I got home I tried the food. Fries were pretty bland, and needed salt, but I 'm pretty into salt so maybe that 's on me. The burger I will say wasn 't too bad, but I 'd kinda hope so for the price.Overall, the restaurant portion looks nice, and the theme was well done, hitting the old timey theme well. If you 're looking for some takeout or something cheap to munch on, Waldoboro isn 't big, but there 's much more competitive options to choose from.
