What User dislikes about Virginia Diner:
It’s a famous diner that everyone knows. Came on Sunday for lunch there are a lot of people dining after church. There’s a store front selling Virginia peanut products and the back is the restaurant, quite large space nothing fancy just a typical diner set up. This restaurant is conveniently located right off Route 460 in Wakefield, Virginia, and offers a wide range of options, from a buffet to locally grown fruits. The food was incredibly delicious, and our waiter, Nae, was outstanding! She took excellent care of us and made sure everyone had a fantastic experience at the Virginia Diner. Everything we tried was delightful. The sweet potato casserole, bread pudding, and peach cobbler were so good that I had to remind myself I had eaten too much. A great restaurant we would visit often when we lived in Virginia. Great food, great service, real country cooking and plenty on your plate for a fair price. The buffet selections made a great Brunch in every respect. We would always get some peanuts and peanut brittle in the Restaurant Store , the unsalted dry roasted are the best VA peanuts around. Now that we live in Florida, we regularly order peanuts from their on line store and always have fast reliable delivery with every order. Great place for food and peanuts!

First time here?..we had the BLT and BBQ sandwich?both were yummy. The pies are the best part! Great down home place and service. Will be going back to try the fried chicken that looked amazing! Only reason I didn?t give it a 5 star ?-front staffwas not very personable and it felt awkward?more training is needed. Other than that the foot and waitress was amazing!

Welcoming diner. Plenty of parking even with a camper. Service was pretty good. Biscuits and gravy was good. Big, fluffy biscuits and hot gravy. Potatoes were old and cold. : They need to know how to scramble an egg. : Hubby got fried eggs, andwere really good. Ham is always delish. Grits had zero seasoning, and were so watery. Literally like they added water to donegrits. : Tea and coffee were both good. Got peanut pie to go. Staff were really nice. restrooms were clean.
