This place is amazing. Very authentic Chinese cuisine and run by a wonderfully friendly family! The buns (we tried pork and veggie) were so amazing. Make sure to add the spicy sauce to your bun dipping sauce if you like it spicy! ???! ????! View all feedback.
What Tingwei Meng doesn't like about Jayd Bun:
I had a very high expectation before I went there, but their food quality makes me a little bit disappointed. I tried tomato noodles, pancake and pork buns. Tomato noodles are ok. The sauce and sausage in the pancake is American style, but the crisp and wrapping are good. The pork buns are disappointed: the stuffings are not enough, and the wrapping is neither soft nor crisp. The price is ok though. View all feedback.
The best Chinese food I've had outside of China! Friendly service, incredible food, nice outdoor dining option even though it's take out only. The Veggie Jinjin was my favorite, but we enjoyed everything we ordered. (An order each of pork and veggie buns, and an order of Zhajiangmian. Very flavorful and fresh!
The food was delicious I never tried something like this before. It’s totally different, the combination of different flavors make this experience unique. I tried the pancakes, tomato noodle soup (for me it was a little bit tasteless but I think that’s the original receipe) and the noodles were on point. I’ll comeback to try something else
Wow...just wow! My Partner had been blowing up Jayd Bun to me for a week or two so we finally made the time and HOLY DAMN was it good! Most folks will speak on the amazing flavor of the main courses, as they should, but I'm highlighting the Jayd Fusion Pancake appetizer. Crispy, light, not oily at all, and mad flavorful with the house rub on top. Truly incredible. I love food and can be a hard grader but Jayd crushed it on all fronts. Tatie, the Server, was super nice and Joe, the Owner, came out and chatted us up for a bit. I love his energy...AND HIS FOOD. The craze is real here People, eat it.Parking: A fine lot next door and a few spots on street.
Full disclosure: I had never been a huge fan of Chinese food. Because I was definitely eating the wrong Chineses Food. Jayd Bun is truly one of the most incredible food experiences I have ever had. Their noodles, buns, and wontons will turn even the biggest skeptic into a believer. Jayd Bun is worth all of its hype and it is delicious. I wish I had tried them when the first opened and it didn’t take me 3 years to discover them!!!! Don’t make my mistake.
I'm the dumpling king of Cambodia. I know dumplings. But yeah, now I know I don't really know dumplings. Holy cow. Delicious. The buns are also off the charts. Wonderful and friendly ownership and outdoor seating which makes a summertime expedition to Jade Bun, one of the more special dining experiences I've had in years. Not to mention, Whalers brewery is only a lovely stroll away. Whether you're vacationing like us or you live in the state of RI, this restaurant is a hidden gem. It's a must do. Put it at the top of your list. Thank me later!!
