Cap'n Jack's
Description
Cap'n Jack's has garnered a mixed bag of reviews, revealing a restaurant that strives for greatness but often misses the mark. While some diners praise the outstanding fish and chips, delicious chowder, and friendly service, others lament the poor quality of ingredients, lukewarm dishes, and unappetizing flavors. Complaints include sticky tables, smells masked with bleach, and improperly prepared seafood. Despite its dated appearance, the establishment is noted for its family-friendly atmosphere and an impressive drink selection. For some, it's a don’t-miss local gem, while for others, it’s a disappointing experience that raises serious concerns about food safety.

I visited Cap'n Jack's for the first time and tried the Fish and Chips, and it was fantastic. It's definitely one of the best deals in town. The meal came with a cup of chowder, three clam cakes, and a generous serving...
Fresh seafood cooked to perfection, delightful cocktails, and wonderfully attentive and friendly servers! Our server, Nancy, was outstanding! She assisted us with the menu...
Without a doubt, this place serves the best fish and chips in the entire state. The service is fantastic. Fridays are the highlight of the week. The Caesar salad is lightly dressed and absolutely delicious—5 out of 5!
Place is a little dated but clean. Food was good. Looks like they make their own dessert. I love chocolate cake but it was to rich for me and had to many layers taking away the taste of the cake.
