What User likes about Watersmeet National Trust Tea Rooms:
we really enjoyed eating that we had here. not a large selection, but delicious. pasties and cake for us. what a great location and a perfect stop for your walk. all staff friendly and looked clean and well organized. our only negatiw is that very long wait in a waiting queue. partly due to covid (which is good to keep people safe), but also it is not a large enough device for the sheer amount of footfall. not the fa... I have visited this restaurant numerous times in the past, but it has unfortunately declined in quality. The food selection is now limited to three types of pastries, some cakes, and scones, with nothing else available. Tea and coffee are served in disposable cups, and the pastries are served in disposable bags. read moreNestled in a picturesque setting, this once-favored tea room now faces scrutiny due to declining standards. Diners note a limited menu, with a focus on pastries and scones, often served in disposable containers. The service can be chaotically slow, exacerbated by a cramped layout that obscures options and hinders the flow. While the location remains idyllic for walkers, reviews highlight inconsistent food quality—particularly with sandwiches and cold scones. However, some patrons still cherish the friendly staff and the lovely environment, suggesting that a return visit might be worthwhile during quieter seasons. Improvements in cleanliness and service efficiency are eagerly anticipated.
