Great little ‘ curry cafe ‘ . Just a few tables , serving delicious home style cooking . One of the last places you’ll be able to eat nice food for under a tenner . We had a portion of samosa , a portion of Shami Kebab , 2 curries with rice and a chapatti , a couple of bottles of water , the bill was around £17 total . Don’t expect service , you collect your food from the counter , and don’t be surprised how many local office staff are collecting take away lunches and meals to take home . It’s a good place for a tasty cheap well prepared meal meal
I eat here all the time, the food is delicious, the portions are plentiful and the chapattis are fresh. It's also a very affordable way of eating out if you can't be bothered to cook. My only gripe is when other customers have their phone speakers on, I mean come on, you're not on the top deck of a bus.
Tasty food at fantastic prices. Staff helpful and friendly. Highly recommend and will go for lunch every time I go to town.
The food was lovely. I had a chicken tikka toastie and it was so delicious. The service was great and the staff were friendly and quick to attend to us. I would definitely go again as it was great all around!
This place is brilliant. Looks like a regular cafe at the top of Westgate, but instead of bacon rolls, it sells the most delicious curries at great prices.
