I had been meaning to try this restaurant for a while now due to the reviews and its proximity to where I live. The service was a bit slow at the beginning, but the staff were pleasant enough. We ordered chicken skewers, but the meals eventually came without the skewer or any explanation, which was disappointing. Had a gorgeous meal here tonight! The food and service was outstanding! We had The Plough recommended to us by a friend and we weren't disappointed! We took our two young children with us, who, on arrival received a little activity bag (colouring, pencils, stickers sweets! , a lovely gesture! This is a welcoming, homely pub, serving fresh home cooked food we will definitely be returning! Thank you xxxx

We were already 3 times now and not just the most ingenious his beautiful yorkshire welcome them when they go through the door. I cannot recommend this pub and bistro enough. good honest high-end powder food with fantastic Yorkshire welcome. ali, who served me, and who plagued us yesterday, is coming to the place. the whole staff was beautiful. will definitely go back. cheers ali x
Had 50th birthday meal in pflug 9 of us I think and each of us added the eating some steak had some calves I mixed grill a real battle to eat all mixed grill had a really nice time ... thanks.
