I just had a lovely dinner at The Winding Wheel restaurant. Our server, Lee, was fantastic, very professional and friendly. He was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. The food was delicious, thanks to the chef and kitchen staff. I will definitely be back soon. View all feedback.

Tried to order from the 3 course meal. No 10 oz sirloin left but offered an 8 oz rump for the same price £4 cheaper on the main menu). Ordered a bottle of wine as part of the meal not available but offered a different kind with the information ‘This is a more expensive wine’ Actually £4 cheaper on the menu. No need to lie, just say you have run out and that is the only alternative. Lots of the salad bar had run out.... View all feedback.
The restaurant was nothing special. The server didn't seem to know what they were doing, the salad bar had wilted lettuce, and the steak was tough. I had a much better meal in the breakfast section a year ago. They also needed to turn on the heating because it was freezing. One person couldn't finish their meal.

I was unsure where to eat, so after having a drink at Wetherspoons, I decided to try out Harvester. (big mistake) I made sure to check in as I had never done that before. We asked for a drink while waiting for our table to be cleared but never got served. Finally, we were seated at the table we requested, but the service from the waiter was lacking.

Recently enjoyed a late lunch here at the Harvester restful after lots of shopping. Busy when we arrived, but we were quickly found to a table and the overall service was excellent and very professional. Good menu choice to suit everyone and reasonable prices....
