Feedback
Reviews note Qubana’s generous plates, affordable lunchtime deals and lively atmosphere; expect friendly staff but occasional delays or booking hiccups on busy nights.
On Monday 25th February I reserved a table at Qubana having checked it it was open on their website. They use an automated booking system called Open Table. I received a confirmation from them. On arrial at the restaurant, the lights were on inside but there was a notice on the door telling us that they were closed. A birthday present ruined. To add insult to injury I received another e-mail from Open Table asking me how my dinner was! A system like Open Table is only as good as the information supplied to it by the restaurant itself.
Our girly get together at Qubana was lovely as always. The food, atmosphere and staff were all lovely especially our waitress Eve who really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I always love a trip to Qubana, but I hate the unisex style toilets with a passion it is a very awkward arrangement and separate toilets would be so much better!
Had a wonderful meal with friends today. Nick our waiter was amazing. Very professional and attentive and patient. The food was lovely. Would definitely recommend.
Visited again this Lunch time and found the Service to be vastly improved. There was a Friendly Guy at the door who did the meet and greet thing and a Waiter on hand who was watching the floor much of the time. The place was noticably more full today and the atmosphere was far better than my last visit. With all this in mind, I was left feeling far more positive about my Lunch and was glad to have returned. However, my Lunch came in two halves which was not good. My lovely large wedge like potato arrived nearly 10 mins after my wrap. The wrap was not a patch on last time and was not closed as I expect a wrap to be, as last time. The filling was falling out and it was haphazardly cobbled together- oh dear( Although a better experience, I still see room for improvement and have not upped my star rating I am afraid. May give it another go and try an Evening experience next time.
My dad and I had lunch here yesterday and we were both very impressed with the quality of the food and service. We shared tapas as a starter then had one of their lovely and tasty sandwiches. . I had the steak melt and dad had barbecued chicken. Prices were very reasonable, the atmosphere was great, staff were excellent and we both said that we wouldn't hesitate to dine there again. VERY ENJOYABLE LUNCH TO CELEBRATE DAD'S BIRTHDAY.

More information
If you’re unsure how much to order, the floor staff are used to tailoring portions for groups — many guests are advised to choose just a few tapas per person and are pleasantly surprised by how filling the plates are. Also, if a dish seems oddly cold, ask: some items are occasionally served cooler by design or due to timing, and kitchen staff will often correct it quickly.
