Coming from an Italian family, we rarely eat out for Italian food, but this place is the real deal. It’s the best restaurant in Wake Forest! For my meal, which was dinner, I spent over $100 per person. The food was a perfect 5, the service was a 5, and the atmosphere also received a 5. Highly recommend!

The Italian cuisine featured fresh ingredients, and I particularly enjoyed the pasta and the fresh arugula salad. The cocktails were also delightful; I had a Manhattan and a Peroni. My dinner for one, including a drink, came to around $70 before tip. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.

I've waited 30 years to have a cannoli made just right and never thought, as a NY native, that I'd find it at Amalia's, in North Carolina. The pasta was perfectly made.
