Follow the rules, be courteous, and you’ll have a wonderful sandwich experience. Keep in mind that they are primarily a bakery, and we’re lucky that they provide these delicious, freshly prepared lunches.
Breadzilla was truly a one-of-a-kind bakery and lunch spot in the South Fork, standing out from the pretentious vibe that has become all too common in the area. While they may not have been the absolute best in everything they offered, they were certainly the only ones doing what they did. Year after year, Nancy, Brad, Felix, and the entire kitchen team consistently delivered some of the most delicious lunches and pastries in the Hamptons. From their signature soft rolls and cinnamon loaves to the unforgettable drunken Felix sandwich, every visit was a delightful experience. It was the kind of place where you dreaded finishing the last bite of your meal because it was simply that enjoyable. As a loyal customer for over 20 years, I will genuinely miss their daily specials, warm smiles, and the dedication and passion they poured into their work. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors—enjoy your retirement. You will be sorely missed.

My all-time favorite sandwich is the chicken with melted cheddar on a soft roll whenever it’s available. I also love their cinnamon swirl loaf, cheese loaf, and cheese rolls. Whatever you choose, from the classic favorites to the daily specials, your sandwich will always be made with love by Nancy or Brad and served with a touch of humor from Felix. It’s definitely worth the wait to try Breadzilla the next time you’re in Wainscott.
The staff at Breadzilla work incredibly hard and deliver exceptional service from behind the counter, which really sets them apart. During my last breakfast visit, I asked about a tempting pastry, wondering if it was a cookie or maybe a brownie, and the cashier confirmed it was a cookie. I nearly bought it but decided to stick with my usual bagel. To my surprise, when I checked out, he had already put the cookie in my bag! I love exploring new treats here, and everything tastes amazing. My favorite so far is definitely the chocolate fudge cookie, though it might not be the best breakfast choice. My mom is also a big fan; she often buys several goodies and stores them in the freezer for her tea time!
The sandwiches at Breadzilla are truly outstanding, with every ingredient being top-notch and expertly combined for a perfect balance of flavors. Some of the best I've ever had! I especially love the fried cod sandwich and the blackened salmon. Their baked treats are equally amazing—just the right amount of sweetness and absolutely delicious.
