What Susan Mattinson doesn't like about Luana Lounge:
The servers were friendly, but unfortunately, the food was awful. It's a shame because it would be great to have a consistently good restaurant at the hotel. The chicken wings tasted like they had been reheated, and the pasta dish seemed like it came straight from a box. We ended up having to leave the hotel to find a decent dinner. View all feedback.
A good choice if you come back to your hotel later in the evening. Servers were very pleasant. Prices were not too bad, either.
Best Mai Tai in Hawaii. We thought Monkey Pod was 1 with passion fruit but Tais’ (bartender) Mai Tai at Luana Lounge, Fairmont Orchid is the best. You have to try it to believe it.

We stayed at the Fairmont for a medical conference and were fortunate enough to be in Hawaii for work, but also to meet Marianne at the Luana Lounge. She’s wonderful and warms your heart and is the example of the aloha spirit that welcomes you in Hawaii. Dylan, the bartender, makes amazing drinks. Great place to enjoy a cocktail at sunset (or anytime)
Robata grilled veges and meats. Sushi, sashimi and fabulous deserts. The green tea strawberry cake unexpected and delightfully light. The chocolate mochi dessert an architectural delight of many chocolate parts!
