I ate there alone a few nights in a row since I was staying at a nearby hotel. The food was memorably good, and the servers could not have been nicer, I was never ignored and no one hovered, it was all very pleasant. It was busy every night . There are more items on the menu that I want to try. The host or manager kept everything running smoothly and remembered me each time I came in, as did the bartenders who brought my food. The chef is a first class cook. All-around superb experience.

I just enjoyed an amazing meal! The service was exceptional—thank you, Zoey! We've visited FORC several times, and this was definitely our best experience yet. The bone marrow was exquisite, and the clams and mussels were cooked perfectly, not a bit overdone. The 6 oz. filet mignon was actually more than that and cooked to perfection. The chocolate crème brûlée was rich and indulgent. Mahalo!

We had a fantastic dinner here and decided to come back the following evening. Our server, Gabby, was outstanding. Her timing, professionalism, and courtesy were exemplary, making everything seem effortless. The grass-fed steaks were cooked exactly as we ordered, and the portions were generous and tender. The sides were good, though not exceptional. Unfortunately, the lamb was overcooked and the gnocchi a bit mushy. The miso ahi was excellent, but I would have preferred a stronger miso flavor. The cocktails were hit and miss, but overall enjoyable. The restaurant could benefit from improving consistency to reach greatness. Overall, we prefer dining here for a nice meal rather than in Waikoloa, Kona, or Hilo. We really enjoyed it and can’t wait to return.

As always, the food was delicious. I ordered a rare ribeye, but it arrived medium, so I had to send it back. The replacement steak was perfectly rare and absolutely fantastic. My son, who only intended to have a bite, ended up devouring more than half of it! The other main dishes were excellent as well.

I really regret not making reservations much earlier! This was definitely the best meal I've had on the Big Island. From the moment we walked in, the service was friendly and professional. Be sure to order the bread – it's a must! The menu is well thought-out, and every dish was prepared to perfection. I can't wait to return!
