Book's Bbq - Wadsworth

I got pulled pork and brisket from Books this week. It was absolutely awesome. They changed from the tiny barbecue sauce containers to these giant massive vats of barbecue sauce!

This was our second time getting a family meal. We first got food shortly after Book’s opened and were impressed with the quality of the meat. This time, the entire meal shined! These guys obviously have put in the work to keep improving on their already very good food. Now they’re crafting really outstanding meat and excellent sides. We got both the brisket and pulled pork. Both practically melted. The brisket was moist with a rich smoky flavor. The pulled pork was fall apart tender with the same delicious smokiness that penetrated well past the bark. The cornbread and mac and cheese were both delicious (especially the mac and cheese). It’s come a long way since they first opened and both are a step above what’s usually expected at a bbq stand. We cannot recommend this place more highly. It’s a great value for the quality of food. If you love good barbecue, this is definitely worth going out of your way for. If you’re from the area, be thankful we have a place like this so close.

One of the best bbq places around! The sandwich is massive the bbq bowl is absolutely delicious! Quick, friendly service with seating outside. Love the drive thru option as well. 100% recommend trying them out!

A friend of mine does business with a body shop close to here. So he decided to bring us here to day when going back to cleveland from columbus. This place is a gem. Id almost move there to be able to eat there more often. Im very picky about bbq once i start getting north of tennessee but books did NOT disappoint. Ill make any excuse to come across this place again.

Some of the best bbq I’ve had in my life. We got the brisket and it was so much good meat, and had a nice char. Mac and cheese was FANTASTIC too. Cornbread also great. This will be the place we’ll be coming back to now. The owner is awesome too.
