Was Shay Ben baruch at Vanessa's Kasa a mag?
I initially went to Richland Mall for a sandwich, but as I walked into the food court, I spotted Vanessa's Kasa. I took a look at the menu and was truly impressed. I'm a huge fan of birria tacos, and they had several options, including birria pizza. It was absolutely delicious! I shared the pizza with my family, and everyone loved it. The red sauce that accompanied the pizza was fantastic—savory but not spicy. I spen... View all feedback.
What Christina Metcalf dislikes about Vanessa's Kasa:
I’m not sure how long this place has been open, but I won’t be returning. There was only one person working, and the food simply wasn’t worth the price. I ordered the nachos, and the meat had hardly any seasoning at all. My mother-in-law, who is white, adds more seasoning to her dishes than they did here. Shaking my head. View all feedback.
You would think because they just opened not that long ago they would be more diligent when it came to customers. I ordered the ramen with Birria and cilantro and onions. I sat At the tables and waited for about 10 minutes, I saw people coke and go and all get their food before me even though they came in long after me. The girl at the register finally asked me what I got again so I had To get up and tell her what I ordered after I just told her 15 minutes ago. She goes to the back and tells them. I wait another 5 minutes and then got up and seen my food sitting on the counter. They didn’t even call my name or tell me it was ready. I go to grab it and there’s no fork to eat it with and they didn’t give me my drink, so standing there I had to wait ANOTHER 3 minutes and then a lady finally came and I had to ask her. I sit Down and eat and THERES NO BIRRIA ON THE BIRRIA RAMEN, no onions, no cilantro. This whole experience definitely -5/5 stars.
It wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't great. The staff looked bored, and the crispy tacos weren't crispy (chewy to the point that I wondered how long they had waited. The rice was a bit bland, but the beans helped. My husband had the chicken quesadilla, which was your standard quesadilla (meat and cheese . The one thing I'll say was very good flavor-wise was the ramen with the beef. It was just your typical ramen dish, but the stewed meat was flavorful. If we go back, it'll likely be for that.
We ordered the Biarra tacos, rice and beans, they were very filling. Great food.
