Trujillos Comedor Y Cantina - Waco
Trujillos Comedor Y Cantina
Description
At this Mexican eatery, patrons have shared varied experiences, particularly regarding the food and service. While the cuisine garners high praise for its flavor and authenticity, issues with service consistently emerge. Guests have reported long waits for acknowledgment, orders, and refills, alongside disappointing interactions with staff. Despite some positive encounters and a commendable bartender, many diners expressed dissatisfaction, noting that the service felt inattentive and unprofessional, overshadowing the otherwise enjoyable food. Although the flavors might lure customers back, the overall experience suggests room for significant improvement in hospitality to match the culinary offerings.

The service was fast. Unfortunately my paper menu had salsa on it. My cheese Enchiladas were very good and the refried beans actually had some whole beans in there...yum.
Great food and service . Waiter Jose was excellent . Owners were very kind and sweet . Restaurant is very well decorated .
Trujillo's is our go to place for celebrations with Mom Dad. Saturday we celebrated Mom and her twin birthdays, Trujillo's seated 21 of us in our favorite patio room and service was top notch. New tables were nice and the new TV was a hit for football. Thank you, see you all soon!
The chicken enchiladas were the special of the night, but we initially hesitated since we don’t usually eat flour tortillas. However, the waiter mentioned they could make them with corn tortillas instead! That convinced us, and we ordered two right away. The corn tortillas made for excellent enchiladas; we had never tried them that way before. The chicken was seasoned with delicious spices, and the sour cream and cheese on top were the perfect finishing touches. Each bite was great, especially when paired with the rice and beans. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by!
