Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Waco

Love tropical smoothie! Used to go all the time in Michigan, so glad we have one here in Waco!!

What is the point of online ordering if it's not ready when you get there? Their smoothies are delish but they are not prompt with any kind of urgency of others time.

The food was good and fresh, and the smoothies hit the spot on such a hot day. The staff were nice folks and food came out quick.

The restaurant offers curbside pickup as an option at their location, although I had previously ordered through the app and always picked up at the window. However, on this occasion, I was told to come inside to pick up my order. When I asked why this had changed, the staff member became defensive and made a rude comment under her breath. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to improve their customer service by hiring more courteous and friendly staff, as the morning staff I encountered was unprofessional and unfriendly.

The restaurant is poorly staffed, lacking in professionalism, and has poor problem management. I witnessed the staff taking my money at the drive-thru window, then proceeded to serve 10 customers who walked in before attending to my order. My smoothies were left by the window, melting, and when I tried to get their attention by tapping on the window, they ignored me. I had to physically walk in to retrieve my already melted smoothie. Their excuse was being short-staffed, but if the smoothies were already prepared, it shouldn't have been difficult to hand them out. This establishment has significantly declined in quality, and I will not be returning.
