I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and a breakfast pie, and both were absolutely delicious! The prices are quite affordable here. I highly recommend this place!
The service was top-notch from the moment I stepped inside. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful when I asked about nut-free bread options, which is crucial for someone with severe allergies—kudos to them for being so attentive! I appreciate how quality bakeries take these matters seriously without making me feel uncomfortable about my needs. Their cookies are delightful—just the right amount of sweetness—not overly sugary at all. Everything else on the menu looked equally tempting, from their savory omelettes to brunch items. It's a great spot for a light pastry or a hearty lunch. I particularly enjoyed their outdoor seating area, which is dog-friendly! The interior offers plenty of seating as well, although it does get a bit loud due to the acoustics. They even have a clean, gender-neutral restroom and more outdoor seating in a charming garden area. Parking was a breeze to find on the street, and I spotted a gravel lot across the street that seemed to be available for customers. The Wi-Fi is strong, and there’s self-serve water, along with drinks available for purchase. I highly recommend trying their delicious treats!
We also couldn't resist trying the Bread Pudding, which was incredibly tasty, made with pecans and drizzled with vanilla syrup. It had a great texture and wonderful flavor. Later, we took some blueberry pie to go, and it did not disappoint; it was flavorful, and the crust was excellent as well. Discovering this hidden gem felt like a home run! The staff were very friendly and seemed to know many of the regulars. I would definitely return to this wonderful restaurant!
If you're in Waco and searching for a fantastic breakfast spot, this is the place to go. Nestled in a quiet area, it beautifully repurposes an old building and offers ample parking. The menu features trendy foods, including Bulletproof coffee, vegan-friendly choices, and gluten-free options, blending a nostalgic atmosphere with modern tastes. I tried the breakfast pie, akin to a quiche, and it was absolutely delicious—fluffy, with vibrant flavors from all the ingredients. My date enjoyed the baked oatmeal immensely! The coffee selection was also quite impressive. The service was exceptionally friendly, with plenty of helpful recommendations. Plus, the prices were very reasonable!
I absolutely adore this restaurant! You must try the breakfast pie—it's phenomenal! The staff is charming and incredibly friendly. The atmosphere has a fun, family-oriented vibe that makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The hand-painted flower chairs and tables, along with the overall decor, are simply delightful! It has a lovely farmhouse feel combined with genuine farm-to-table food. I can't wait to return! This was definitely the highlight of my day trip to Waco, and I'm willing to drive an hour and a half just to bring others here!
