Was Chris Brown at Kitok a mag?
This was a tough rating, but I'll say first everyone I encountered was friendly. I got the spicy pork, chicken bulgogi, and the oriental fries. The fries to me, missed the mark. You get a lot for the price, but they lacked seasoning. The main dishes come with a small salad, soup, and fried rice. I will say all the sides were generous and it wasn't just basic miso soup, which was nice. However for $15 per dish, you do... View all feedback.

Hole in the wall, locally. We're always looking for it. The Kimche is amazing. The rinderschweinbulgolgi is so good. I'm glad I decided. I was not as impressed by the oriental pommes as everyone raved, but they were well immersed in the soy sauce. It comes with a Mayo? based dressing salad a chicken soup appetizer. If we return to Waco, we'll be back.

So don’t get scared off this place. I finally broke down and tried it out. Got a burger and Asian fries. Pretty good. I need to go for the Korean.

My husband and daughter have been talking about this place for 30 years and I have to go. A wonderfully small Korean restaurant that also has hamburgers and other sandwiches. The parking lot is dirt and gravel. The exterior of the building could take some attention. There is a small garden in front of the restaurant next to the street that needs help. You go in to see directly into the kitchen, feel the heat and observe the magic that comes to life. There are only 15 or twenty small tables in place, and they are all kept clean. Then you will be introduced into the menu. There are not six or more pages of options, but maybe three. Three wonderful pages of real food. This place is a secret that is really not a secret to the locals. I hope it stays like that. I love everything, just as it is, as it has been for decades.

SUPER friendly owners and staff always make you feel at home. We have loved Kitok's for decades and they constantly impress us with high-quality, reasonably priced food like Beef and Chicken Bulgoghi, Oriental Fries, crisp salads, Potato soup, Cheesebrgers, etc., are all done amazingly well.

Great surprise, had the egg hamburger with oriental fries both very good.

Kitok's is a Waco landmark offering Korean cuisine and American classics like burgers and fries. While some diners were disappointed by the burnt bulgogi and overpriced dishes, others praised the high-quality and reasonably priced food. The small, unassuming restaurant with a limited menu has been a favorite for locals for decades. Some customers described it as their go-to spot for delicious bulgogi and oriental fries. While the food may have mixed reviews, the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere seem to keep customers coming back for more at this hidden gem in Waco.

The pork bulgogi was burnt —almost every single piece! Of the parts that were more edible, they were lightly charred and nicely flavored. The mixed bulgogi chicken was not good —it was overcooked and dry! My dining companion and I agreed that my pork bulgogi was so charred that it was burnt and not edible. The owner came over and stated that it is supposed to be like that. We understood the char from the sweet and spicy nature of the dish but this was over cooked! She did nothing to fix it nor to remove the extra meat cost from the charge. The salad was over doused in dressing. Even after removing half of the salad dressing, there was too much. It was ordinary iceberg with tomatoes, red cabbage and shreds of carrot with two slices of cucumber. The best thing was the fried rice. The soup was nice, bland but decent. The beef part of the mixed bulgogi was good. The Oriental fries were interesting but not that good— would not order those again. The dumplings were ok, nothing special. The ice water was very refreshing. The bulgogi meal, because of how poorly it was executed, was overpriced. I lived in Korea for three years, enjoyed authentic bulgogi dishes on a weekly basis, and I would not recommend stopping by to eat at Kitok’s. It was recommended to me and did not meet any of the expectations in the least. If I had to come back, I might try the burgers and regular fries.

My favorite hole in the wall mom and pop shop for the delicious cuisine of Bulghogi the may be misspelled but it is on point with the taste buds and don 't forget to get you the soup and oriental fries and if ur American standards foodie the burgers are a top of the town hit as well. Love this place! 34-year customer.Parking: Busy at Lunch for sure! Dinner is a more quiet dine in time..

Went for lunch. They used to be know for their hamburgers and oriental fries. The service was very slow. I had to get out menus and it took forever for our order to be taken. The hamburger was not near as good as it used to be. I was very disappointed. The oriental fries were great though.Food: 4/5

This restaurant is a hidden gem, a local favorite. The kimchi here is outstanding. The beef and pork bulgogi is incredibly delicious. I'm happy I ordered the full size portion. While I didn't find the Oriental fries to be as amazing as others claimed, they were tasty when dipped in the provided soy sauce. The meal also includes a salad with a mayo-based dressing and a chicken soup appetizer. If we ever come back to Waco, we will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

My husband and daughter have been raving about this restaurant for 30 years, and I finally had the chance to experience it myself. This charming Korean restaurant also offers hamburgers and other sandwiches. The parking lot is rough with dirt and gravel, and the exterior of the building could use some attention. There is a small garden in front of the restaurant that could use some care. When you enter, you can see directly into the kitchen and feel the heat as you watch the chefs at work. The restaurant has only around 15 or twenty small tables, all of which are kept clean. The menu is concise, with just three delightful pages of real food options. This hidden gem is well-known to locals, and I hope it remains that way. I love everything about it just the way it is, maintaining its charm and tradition for decades.

Service was wondering, very friendly! I had the sweet and spicy pork and it was very tasty. Soup was like a chicken and potato reminded me of something your grandma would have made. Salad was fresh.
