Diamondback's - Waco

The food and service at this restaurant were the best we've experienced in Waco. Our server, David, and Jeff, the General Manager, were both professional and attentive. We had made a reservation for our anniversary and were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful table arrangement. This place is a must-visit when in Waco and is ideal for special occasions.

I tried a steak taco dish that was exclusive to happy hour, but it was disappointing. The taco shells were thin and brittle, almost like sharp crackers. I also got the spinach dip, but it arrived much later than the other dishes and came with very flimsy tortilla chips. On a positive note, my Aviation cocktail was good. Our service was slow and intermittent, though the staff was friendly. Overall, nothing was terrible, but the experience didn’t warrant a return visit, especially not outside of happy hour. I would be hesitant to try their steaks, most of which are priced over $60.

Last weekend, my company, Dream Events, had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding reception, and I must say, the venue had a stunning industrial atmosphere. The staff was incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. Lindsey, our main contact for the event, made everything a breeze and ensured that everything flowed smoothly. The couple and their families were all smiles throughout the day. I will definitely recommend this space to my future clients!

1. The side dishes are generous and delicious, so it's a good idea to share them. If you're not a meat lover, you could easily make a meal out of just the sides. 2. If you don't make a reservation, keep in mind that bar seating is given priority, which accommodates four sets of two chairs. 3. Be prepared to spend a bit; steaks typically range from $50 to $60.
