The best food you will taste in Waco. I had broccoli and scampi and I couldn’t believe broccoli can ever taste as great as it did. Service was mind blowing. They also have a room for private events. I cannot wait to be back to try more of their food. View all feedback.
What salit019 doesn't like about 1424 Bistro:
Servers didn’t introduce evening specials, (overheard other server at neighboring table. Sounded delicious). Chicken piccata is sad. Paper thin about 3-4 oz of chicken with bland linguini. Fettuccine Alfredo tastes like it was made of ONLY Béchamel sauce. Nutmeg and parmigiana was the only flavors coming through. Filet was cooked nice We will try again. View all feedback.
Rick took great care of us and the food was amazing! We love to try new restaurants when we travel, and this was by far some of the best steak I’ve ever had! Thank you again Rick for a great experience!
Waco, TX has a few surprises up its sleeve, and 1424 Bistro is one of them! I was looking for a place to go, and I could not find what I was looking for. I am so glad I stumbled on 1424 Bristro. It is a great vibe in there! The host and server staff are top-notch quality people who not only know their stuff, but who take pride in their restaurant. The quality of the food and its preparation was surprisingly good. They present a fantastic drink menu as well. 1424 Bristro has an upscale feel made for the everyday person. When traveling through Waco, TX and looking for a great meal, 1424 Bristro is a must try!
Had a phenomenal time at this restaurant w my significant other. Their twist on beef wellington was the only thing that threw me off due to the Greek style, however, I absolutely loved everything else. I reccomend. The staff and the people around us were very sweet and super friendly. I felt like a native eating here. My bf had the roasted lamb shank but didn't know how to order it so he didn't care for it.
Amazing experience. Wonderful ambiance, incredible food, lovely service. You must check out the menu. Don't miss 1424 Bistro if you're in Waco!
Ordered the chicken picata the plate tasted like boiled chicken an boiled noodles no flavor.
