This Lou Malnati’s has been in this location for a very long time. On top of being a good pizza joint, it is a fun place to visit if you like sports memorabilia. Lots of Cubs and Bears items in different rooms and many are quite impressive. Service is a bit slow (guessing due to worker shortage) but quality of food is still solid. View all feedback.
I thought that the cheese and tomato sauce was skimpier. The pizzas were dry. They were still $40
Lou Malnati's is Lou Malnati's. Their pizza, especially with the butter crust, is great. We always just get takeout so I can't say much about the dine in experience. Takeout is pretty hassle free especially when ordering on the app. While I prefer stuffed pizza to deep dish, my significant other prefers deep dish, so we usually end up here. For deep dish, Lou's is the best. They have the usual take and bake options, if you want to fill the freezer.
I got the thin crust Lou. It was good so I didn't have to consume all the extra carbs. Lou Malnati's is another staple of Chicago pizza. Best had at the restaurant fresh.
Critics, Redditors, and bloggers can argue all they like about the best deep dish pizza in Chicago Lou Malnati's might make one of the very best pizzas in the country. Though I found the crust a little cakey, no other dough could hold up the generous amount of toppings. The creamy mozzarella works beautifully with the flavorful sauce. While you can go to any Lou Malnati's location, this one if full of character. Well worth the trip.
