Great for people watching on the busy thoroughfare. French onion soup was flavorful, but could have been hotter. Onion rings were the best, but calamari disappointed, may have been held too long. My wife enjoyed her salad. View all feedback.
My daughter and I stopped by on Saturday afternoon for lunch. It was a beautiful sunny day with a lot of people walking through the old Montreal, so plenty of people and plenty of people watching. We were quickly seated at an outdoor table and were greeted by our server. The service was quick and the food was served hot (mine a roast beef dip, my daughter has something else). The roast beef au jus wasn't quite the au jus that I know, it was more of a gravy, much thicker. I did ask for the sauce and the au jus to be on the side. The portions were very big and were served with fries!!!!We started with a fried appetizer - fried pickles - fried zucchini and fried potato pieces all served with a dipping sauce. It was fine. We also ordered their White beer which has a taste of nutmeg ... yummy! The other beer served was their Pale Ale - also very good.Delicious all around. We will return.PLEASE let me know this was HELPFUL!

We came at supper time on a weekday and the place was packed. Fortunately we were seated quickly as someone was just leaving. The patio was good for people watching but the tables were too close together for comfort. We had a few appetizers to share. They were too bad. A little on the average side. The beer was alright. We had a flight as well as some of the amber. Being from vancouver, we are used to fantastic micro breweries, so the benchmark is set pretty high. The menu covered everything from pizza to burgers, along with a few very interesting looking dishes to share. Very enjoyable overall.
Good place for a quick drink and to try some Poutine. We tried some of their beers and their poutines. All good
