Unfortunately, we were disap... read more My colleagues and I visited this restaurant in February, hoping to enjoy a good dinner with delicious dishes and excellent service. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The dishes tasted terrible, and were overloaded with mayonnaise - even fast food restaurants offer better options! The historical restaurant was not well-maintained, with a dusty and unpleasant smell. While it used to be the best in town many years ago, it has definitely declined. I would advise against risking your stomach and money here. The only recommendation I can make is to admire the medieval walls and ceiling, but avoid eating at this restaurant.

The soup was decent, but the pork and chips appeared and tasted as though they had been hastily reheated in a microwave. The service was courteous but slow, and it was necessary for me to personally seek out our waiter as he seemed to be oblivious to our requests for the check. The charming details in the historical building kept us in high spirits, but the experience could have been greatly improved by serving even mediocre food at a quicker pace, making the visit more worthwhile.

The renovated ceiling and walls, adorned with historical scribbles, exude a sense of history. However, the 80s pop music and disco ball somewhat detracted from the atmosphere. The staff seemed disinterested in serving customers, often choosing to chat amongst themselves and communicate with customers in a dismissive manner. Despite this, the food was delicious, with the borsch soup being a standout dish. It's important to note that the restaurant only accepts cash payments.
