Super peaceful and tranquil. Walking around the grounds is lovely in and of itself. Our room was incredibly spotlessly clean and comfortable. VERY comfy beds!!! Great proximity to town without feeling like you’re in the middle. We had poor weather while we stayed (cold and rainy) and still we had a great time. Breakfasts were generous and yummy. We had dinner here for our anniversary and it was quite pricy but absolutely delicious. Be mindful the kitchen closes at 9 and it’s helpful to have a reservation. This place is spotlessly clean. I even left my dental guard (if you have a dental guard from the dentist you know how detrimental it is to lose it) and didn’t realize until we couldn’t turn around to come get it (I cried when I couldn’t find it) I sent them an email and they did a deep dive and FOUND IT! They even offered to ship it to me in the US, which was very kind and calmed me down, also helped me save $500 from getting a new one made at the dentist! I’d highly recommend this place, excellent. Thank you!!

The service was unbearably slow to the point that we considered leaving before our second course came it was about a 30 minute wait between finishing and starting courses. We ended up leaving before we got dessert. The staff saw this and had us wait in the lobby for them to give us the dessert.
