Feedback
Typical Swiss experience: it's the only restaurant at the top of the mountain, so a great excuse for an over-priced, mediocre experience. But no, the food was great and the service was fine. Not cheap, but perfectly in line for Switzerland generally. The views, of course, are completely wonderful, over the whole of Lake Zurich.I had a cold meat platter, a nice glass of rose wine, and the strudel, and it was all very nice, and local. As usual in Europe, one has to find a table oneself, and we asked to join an elderly local couple at a four-place table. They were delightful company (in first our rusty German, then their very good English). They left, and a couple of other local women joined in, and we enjoyed their company as well (speaking more-or-less High German to us, dialect amongst themselves). There were tourists as well, of course, but certainly a place appreciated by locals as well.
