The hotel is located in a cellar in a somewhat remote backstreet, this is actually a very decent restaurant! it is a man show, and that really shows on the view of the place. but eating and crying is really good! if they give this place in doubt a chance, and support them one of the few who actually tries to lead a real restaurant in volda!
That is really a hidden gem, it is like a piece Greek to find in small volda! the cook served us great food, the buffet as he called it, where they share the food with their group, he was such a hospitable host, and we had great talks with him as well as strongly recommend!
What food we gonna remember from our trip in Norway? Sea food and... Georgios' mousaka and... Georgios' stifado and... Georgios tzatziki!!! So happy to have found this restaurant on our way. Thanks Georgios for your welcome and your passion. :
Amazing place with incredible eating, 100 recommend
It was Friday at 18 o'clock, we drove from bergen to alesund. it was a long journey and we were very hungry. so we stopped at volda to find a restaurant, but many were closed. we found georgios kjellar. the chef (I think he is the owner of the restaurant) is very beautiful. He recommended us to have a buffet, actually it is a meal dressed with 3 and served with broth. the food was fantastic! we had a good talk with him too. we had a very nice moment
