Kilauea Lodge - Volcano

I made reservations online and noted that it was for a birthday. They called the day before to get the name of the birthday person. It was a nice surprise to see all the staff greet us with huge smiles and happy birthday wishes. They even set balloons out on the table and printed a special personalized Happy Birthday message on the menus. The food was delicious!! The prime rib rolls were so tender and flavorful on the inside and light crispy on the outside. We also had a fillet of succulent duck with candied oranges...yum!! We added lilikoi margaritas to it and called it a party. But still all of that goodness was topped off with lilikoi cream cheese and chocolate decadence pie slices, they were perfect! What made it even better was that all the staff got together and sang a nice upbeat Happy Birthday song to the tune of Do-Wah-Diddy while they brought out the dessert. Excellent experience!!

We were there 4/1 with the Volcano Tour and had a wonderful meal with exceptional staff. Highly recommend

We just happened to stumble up on this and place and boy were we excited we did. It’s just a few miles from the Volcano and didn’t think highway 11 was open much less this place. Not only did they have the freshest Ahl tuna I’ve eaten the prices and the service was superior. They close at 2 pm and we (party of 9) walked in at 159 pm, they said no problem and didn’t rush us at all. We even had their deserts and they were fantastic, their bead pudding and. carrot cake were awesome. Thanks for taking great care of us, if we ever make it back we will definitely be stopping here.

We had breakfast here yesterday morning. The wait staff was friendly, coffee and tea brought promptly, and our orders taken in a timely manner. The food was delicious, as always. We usually come here for lunch when we have visitors and lunch is always a great experience, too. It was wonderful to see the local community supporting Kilauea Lodge during this current eruption emergency.

Our son lives on the island so we try to come here and see the volcano every year and we always stay at the Kilauea Lodge. Love the place service food everything is wonderful! This year we were really treated to Madame Pele's display the lava was spurting all over in the Kilauea Cauldron. The best we've ever seen in the years we've been coming here! We will be back and as always stay at the lovely Kilauea Lodge.
