The restaurant is not too noisy, with excellent service and affordable prices. We choose to drive here instead of going to Kona for these reasons. It is not crowded, so you don't have to raise your voice to talk to your group. The parking is convenient inside the Kilulea military camp. It is a very family-friendly place with bumpers for kids.
We love going here! We live on the Big Island and we go up here for a stay-cation. It's nice and cool so you can feel like you are getting into the holiday spirit during Christmas and Thanksgiving.Kid-friendliness: Kids love bowling! And they have a huge gaming room as well.
Typical bowling alley choices (burgers, pizza, plate lunches, beer). They were out of several items when we went. Only six tables but it wasn't crowded so plenty of seating.
Bolwing is by the hour so we were able to play 3.5 games with 4 people. Food was good, and service was fast.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem in the National Volcanic Park late at night, hungry and desperate. It turned out to be a great find, offering good quality food at an affordable price. Located on the military camp property, the restaurant was bustling with families enjoying a night out, bowling, playing pool, and having a great time. It's definitely a kid-friendly spot, so bring the whole family!
