We have loved the experience at the hotel. It is great located to visit anything in the surroundings, with direct access to the beach. Plenty of space to park, and it has many services if you go as a couple, or as a family with children: swimming pool, tennis courts, playground, mini golf, spa service... If we return to Galicia, it will be a mandatory stop to repeat. Rooms: The room we were assigned to was just perfe... View all feedback.
What Sergio Ruiz Alonso doesn't like about Thalasso Cantábrico:
We were staying at this hotel The views are good. The breakfast is quite varied with natural orange juice. Very comfortable beds and spacious room. The mini bar was not such. It did not refrigerate neither drink nor food The air conditioning is very noisy. The dinner buffet did not have signs indicating the name of the meals. The combination of public transport is bad. Since it only has 4 feves a day and 4 buses. It... View all feedback.
We are still staying, it is very good, the rooms are very clean and in good condition (except for a small problem with the safe deposit boxes that do not work), the buffet is very well varied except for breakfast, which varies little, everything is very rich and very good gender (congratulate both the chef and all the dining room staff), the spa is wonderful and not expensive, the access to the nearest beach is closed due to the danger of a landslide, for now everything , I will put more when we leave. The views from our room are spectacular. Comment continued, The little problem with the safe was solved when we had been there for 3 days, also to say that the tennis court is quite neglected, they leave you the material to play both tennis and paddle tennis, the tennis rackets are very bad, when they ask us to They will leave the rackets, one of them was a child's one that was broken, (it is recommended that each one bring their own racket) the balls are a shame, so much so that of the boat they left us, one ball was completely bare, another hardly bounced and the third era of paddle tennis, therefore it is better each one to bring their material to play. The interior parking lot is very poorly organized, to say that to maneuver and park you have to do many maneuvers, the proof is that most of the pillars are beaten (they could put some protectors to avoid scratches. For the rest regarding the very beautiful town, it is worth knowing it
Disappointed with the stay at this hotel. First the good, spacious and well-equipped rooms. The views from the 5th floor in the cafeteria are worth it. Now the bad: When they are not overwhelmed, they clean the room. Two days we found the room unmade at 3.30 in the afternoon The dinner buffet has managed to alarm me by not knowing anything about some dishes since I thought I had lost my sense of taste, but no, they have raised the tastelessness to a new degree. The staff was attentive and you could ask them what things were because some dishes were indecipherable and you did not know what they were Rooms: Spacious and well-equipped rooms Walkability: It's hard to go anywhere without a car. Pleasant walk towards the beach of Covas next to the sea, but with a considerable slope Food drinks: Do not dine on floor -1. Horrible free buffet service. Tasteless dishes, plenty of kid-friendly fritters and some dry, hard-to-eat meats. And it was difficult to know some dishes that were
We have loved the experience at the hotel. Rooms: The room we were assigned to was just perfect. We had 180° views of both the sea and the mountains. A window in the bathroom facing the mountain. And a very good size terrace. It looks quite modern and neat. Food drinks: We only tried breakfast, and it was amazing. Pastries, fruits, sausages, salmon, different breads, juices, cereals, all of excellent quality. Without a doubt, it is very worth it.
The hotel is correct, although not for superior 4 stars. The rooms are good, the buffet is simple but the food is good. Friendly waiters. As negative points: it is at the foot of the beach but it cannot be used, said beach has been closed for a few years and they do not notify it. The pool and spa is outside the hotel, you have to go through the parking lot (it's very inconvenient). The tennis and paddle courts could use a coat of paint.
We chose the hotel with the idea of enjoying a calm and relaxed experience, being able to enjoy rest and the spa. What a disappointment!!!!! Starting with the “walk” that we had to do until we reached the spa area. Leaving the hotel building to the street between the reception car park in bathrobe and flip flops.! How horrible !!! and luckily it wasn't raining!!! The spa the fish tank where any fish would suffocate and where you can use the jet of the one in front of you, soon you have it.without a hammock or chair to rest and some jugs of water to drink who knows since when they are there and under what conditions. Everything gave rise to a noisy and party atmosphere more typical of a carnival than a relaxation area. Oh yeah... not even a towel... when you go out, wrap yourself well in your bathrobe and cross the street to the reception of your hotel... Point and separate deserves the breakfast and dinner buffet.coffee from the tapwithout being able to choose decaf or machine.it looked more like the coffee from the recruit box. All very scarce and of little or poor quality. And very little variety.not to go into details..superior 4* quality, no joke.orange juice was the only natural thing out of everything there was. At dinners, cold and insipid, the protein of the egg in an omelet or fried or its infinite varieties was missing... hardly a hard-boiled egg and possibly leftovers from midday or breakfast... Let's say: the jack, horse and king could be the statement from the buffet menu. Outside of this and a restaurant, which we tried to enter twice without success, which, given its capacity, would have to be reserved well in advance, there is no way to enjoy any possible food... not even in a cafeteria... With which we return to the saying: jack, horse and king. In order not to repeat
