But if you want an excellent family restaurant with high quality food and friendly staff, come right in. No, English is not spoken. That's why you should have learned German before entering, but "pizza" translates well and they make those on site by hand. Excellent choice. It's a local place, you'll fit right in with Heiri....

The first... read more We went for dinner and tried this restaurant in Unterägeri next to the main road. There are plenty of parking spots outside the restaurant for guests. The first impression was very good. The room, tables, chairs and decoration are given impression of an upper class restaurant.From our table we could see the lake. We ordered Rösti with vegetable potato roesti, french fries, penne a' arriabiatta and mixed salad. All dishes were delicious and carefull prepared. Prices are fair.The pizzza funghi was not my thing. The paste was too thin and it was not tasty.However, the service lady was great and took great care of us. She came around several time to make sure we had everything we needed.Despite of this we will defintelly come back.

The pizzas are really very good with a wide choice. They often have "special menus" depending on the season. The standard a la carte menu is very large so there is something for everyone. The food is very good and they have a decent wine selection. Sitting outside in summer is nice, but can be a bit loud as it is directly next to the main road.
