This is by far my favorite restaurant in Vitebsk. Warm and welcoming atmosphere of a traditional European restaurant divided into two unique areas: over the floor veranda-style area has a variety of tables with an excellent view of a historical center of the city with lots of natural light, wooden walls and roof, TV and a fireplace. Below the ground floor there is another area, beautifully decorated cellar style bar divided into two rooms with different size tables, arched low ceiling and a real medieval atmosphere. Restaurant offers a wide selection of Belarusian dishes, cooked to perfection in the best domestic way. Also you can try to produce the variety of unique alcoholic beverages locally (Spoiler: can you imagine combination of vodka and a horseradish?: . Friendly and knowledgeable things are ready to help some of the guys speak quite decent English. All the above creates an unforgettable feeling of comfort, taste, class and a rich tradition that were carefully brought into modern days through the ages. Prices are very affordable for any tourist budget. Vitebskiy Traktir also has a wide selection of the best European beers. It is worth checking it.
