This place is a hidden gem of creative, organic, healthy sometimes adventurous cuisine from around the world. The food is delicious. It is mainly carried out for the moment. You have three course dinners running under other specials on Thursday. Look at her! It will be happy and happy to be safe.

Having delicious food at our wedding was a must and Dani and Rooted Spoon did not disappoint! From our initial conversations to the wedding day she was a pleasure to work with- creative, flexible and full of energy! We wanted a menu to really wow our guests and Dani was fantastic in helping us come up with a stellar menu. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was- even our most discerning “foodie” guests. She is a talented chef and it comes through in the details of the menu. If you are looking for an energetic, easy to work with, and incredibly talented caterer, look no further than Dani and Rooted Spoon!
Stopped in for their Friday night tacos- yum! My parents tried the trio of tacos and it was a toss up between the chicken and the fish for most delicious! I had the salad, and it was also tasty. The cocktails were awesome. We really enjoyed the vibe and decor. The staff were a highlight- all friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to eat and spend time with folks, if you're in Viroqua on the right nights (only open certain nights).
Rooted Spoon ensured our wedding and brought our crazy BBQ idea to life. When searching for caterers, we were looking for a company that would allow an adjustment in the menu because we had a very specific burger and sandwich idea in mind. Dani Lind at Rooted Spoon allowed us to create our own menu while we offer our own suggestions. She and her team grilled everything on the grounds that was added to the mood of the outdoor grill. Our guests have our food absolutely LOVED and it was probably the most talked about a part of our day. Definitely not the traditional, blah wedding dinner! Along with an incredibly talented cook Dani is amazingly nice and super fun! At the end of our wedding weekend, she literally felt like family.
