Outstanding! A must-visit when in Virginia Beach. While much of the Virginia Beach strip feels overly commercial, this spot offers a genuine local beach restaurant vibe. The bartender was welcoming and attentive. The atmosphere perfectly captures what a beachside eatery should be. Fantastic location, delicious food, and though not inexpensive, it’s definitely reasonably priced.
I really wanted to give this place a 5 star review, but after my mom and husband got the ?flounder in a bag? and the shrimp was raw the first time and the second time when they remade it, I couldn?t leave that good review. Our waitress was so nice, but therest of night I couldn?t help but think the two of them were going to be sick. My scallops were great. It was very pricey though
Are second or third time here while in town and it does not disappoint still! We had a wonderful attentive server who was friendly. I had the tilapia and my husband had a catfish. Very cozy wonderful atmosphere even in the off-season and deliciousfood. We will be back when in town!
Overall, we had a wonderful experience dining at the bar on a bustling Saturday night with our group of four. The highlight for me was the peach BBQ shrimp grits—an incredible combination of flavor and texture that I highly recommend! I also enjoyed sampling the fresh raw oysters, including the Laughing King and Big Island varieties, both from Virginia. My friends were pleased with their veggie pasta and tuna dishes. For drinks, I opted for the rosé and Picpoul wines, which were both excellent and surprisingly affordable at just $5 and $7 per glass, much cheaper than most places. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant managed the busy crowd smoothly, creating a great atmosphere. Thank you for a delicious dinner by the beach!
We had a fantastic dinner tonight and were glad we made reservations, as the place was busy and popular. The Google reviews were spot on! I enjoyed a margarita, and my friend had a Rum Punch. The clam appetizer was delicious, especially the sauce, and the lamb chops were excellent. For the main course, we both chose scallops, which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We finished with key lime pie to celebrate my friend’s birthday. Thank you for the wonderful food and service. We’ll definitely be back next year when we’re in town for the Jeep Jam. We had an amazing birthday weekend in Virginia Beach!
