The food and atmosphere were fantastic. Terry was exceptional, assisting us with our menu choices and portion sizes. The crab nachos and crab soup with sherry were incredible. I also enjoyed the sage trout; it was so delicate and crispy. The key lime pie was unique and delicious. I highly recommend this place!
During our recent visit to Virginia Beach, we had dinner at Tautags. We've eaten here before and always appreciate their food. I ordered the shrimp and grits, which were fantastic. My husband chose the dinner special, wahoo, paired with mashed potatoes and vegetables. For dessert, we indulged in the bread pudding with whiskey sauce—absolutely delightful! We will definitely be back on our next trip.
I really wanted to give this place a 5 star review, but after my mom and husband got the ?flounder in a bag? and the shrimp was raw the first time and the second time when they remade it, I couldn?t leave that good review. Our waitress was so nice, but therest of night I couldn?t help but think the two of them were going to be sick. My scallops were great. It was very pricey though
