Was Anonym at Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream a mag?
My family and I visited this restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and I was thrilled to see so many vegan flavors available! Each vegan option was clearly marked with a "V." I tried the ube flavor with almond, and I was genuinely surprised by how great the texture was! It had a wonderfully creamy taste, which was unexpected for vegan ice cream. It was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend it! View all feedback.

Best made-to-order ice cream in the country! Yeah... I said COUNTRY! You pay a slight premium over all pre-made ice cream shops because you get to select EVERYTHING that goes into your ice cream. If I'm going out for ice cream (and not buying what I can find in the grocery store), I'm going to look for a shop that can offer the most unique experience I could ever get in ice cream. We've visited this shop before and never had a bad experience when we were there. I saw one person, Ms. Shedd, from a few weeks ago, trash this place! I can't believe this person said what she said! She must have been having a bad day before walking into the shop (I hope) because she was comparing apples to oranges. She was trying to compare a pre-made ice cream shop to a labor intensive artisan ice cream experience! The employees make your desert right in front of your face, with your own chosen ingredients! You get what you pay for! Of course, no one wants to pay more for something than they have to, but seriously, to complain about paying maybe a little tiny bit more for the custom, artisan experience is why you go to Sub Zero! Being originally from Colorado, our local favorite ice cream shop (not a custom artisan ice cream shop, btw) is priced the same and I think your cost of living is higher there. They probably don't charge enough as they are a small family owned business.Anyway, I think people should support small business whenever they can. Oh... and as for the honoring of the coupon a day earlier... they may be a small family business, but they have no control over what corporate sends out. That was awesome that they recognized the coupon as they did. It's tough being a small business especially as all small businesses have had a heck of a time getting through these past couple of years.Hope you have a better day Ms. Shedd. As a frequent past customer of the store, I can't understand how you could read anything bad about the manager's response, especially since it seems you are in the minority with regards to the reviews.Oh my goodness! I forgot to mention that their Italian Ice is even better than Rita's!!! I know, that is a horrible thought for some die hard Rita fans, but it really is. It is amazingly creamy and there is no dairy!! Don't get me wrong, I love Rita's too, but if I had my choice, I would choose Sub Zero Nitrogen Italian Ice hands down every day.Wish we had this Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream shop where I live! You always make a premium product, the flavor never disappoints and the complementary science show is always an awesome bonus!!
ETA: the response to my review from the management seems petty to me and shows an attitude of someone I wouldn't want to do business with in the future.Original review :Go somewhere else!Pros The staff honored a BOGO deal for National Ice Cream day (which is today, 7/17) even though SubZero celebrating the day tomorrow (7/18), which makes no sense; the ice cream was delicious.Cons Paid $14 for 3 ice creams (got 1 for free) but the portions were EXTREMELY small our small size cups were only filled halfway and they were $6.29 each I'd guess we got roughly 1/3 cup of ice cream each; staff wasn't that friendly and were slow; location was dirty. We finished our ice cream and were still hungry so went to Brusters to get their special for National Ice Cream Day. We got 6x the amount of ice cream (estimating 2 cups each) for $5 (with a coupon) and my 2 year old got a free baby cone.I wish I took photos but I didn't.
The staff was friendly and did an excellent job accommodating and fulfilling our orders.
