I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while looking for some fried chicken at Harris Teeter. Unfortunately, they were out of it, but I was drawn in by the delightful aroma coming from a place called Forbidden Palace right outside. I decided to take a look, and I have to say that the food I had there is truly the best New York-style Chinese cuisine I have ever tasted. The atmosphere is calm, and the restaurant is impeccably clean. It’s a fantastic spot for a romantic date, a family outing, or even dining solo in a comfortable and peaceful setting. They also offer traditional (authentic) Chinese dishes if that’s what you’re interested in. This place undoubtedly deserves the title of "No. 1 Chinese Food" in terms of flavor, quality, and ambiance. I've already returned twice since my first visit, and I can confidently say that I will be a regular here from now on.

Good food. Reasonable prices. They have a lunch menu also. Service was pretty good but I was at a table of six people and they brought people's food out at different times. Most restaurants will try to bring everyone's food out at about the same time. Iwas stuck sitting there twiddling my thumbs while all my table mates were eating. Not cool.
