The food and service were excellent! Prices were just a little bit high compared to some other Chinese restaurants, but overall the meal was a good value, as most of us had more than we could eat, and so we had food to take home with us! Their sesame chicken and their plum wine was some of the best that I've ever tasted! We intend to return here as one of our frequent Saturday night gathering places! View all feedback.
What Christina V doesn't like about Forbidden Palace And Bistro:
The fried rice… not fried, Szechuan chicken not fried, more like Hunan chicken. Fortune cookies GREAT! Only four dumplings in an order and meat was very dry. The crazy roll (RAW), very small, too much sauce and pricey for what is served. BBQ Chicken bun filled with more sauce than meat. 30-45 minute delivery window actually 1hr 15minutes. Lo Mein, pork, okay. Overall, overpriced not good food. Two thumbs down. View all feedback.
Always amazing! The fried rice is fantastic, and the sweet and sour shrimp is a standout. This place is definitely one of our favorites.
I had high expectations because we're always on the lookout for a great spot that serves both Chinese food and sushi. This combination is quite common where we come from, and...
We were promptly welcomed and shown to our table by a robot, which was quite charming. I really appreciated the decor, and everything was spotless, including the restroom. The service was...
I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while looking for some fried chicken at Harris Teeter. Unfortunately, they were out of it, but I was drawn in by the delightful aroma coming from a place called Forbidden Palace right outside. I decided to take a look, and I have to say that the food I had there is truly the best New York-style Chinese cuisine I have ever tasted. The atmosphere is calm, and the restaurant is impeccably clean. It’s a fantastic spot for a romantic date, a family outing, or even dining solo in a comfortable and peaceful setting. They also offer traditional (authentic) Chinese dishes if that’s what you’re interested in. This place undoubtedly deserves the title of "No. 1 Chinese Food" in terms of flavor, quality, and ambiance. I've already returned twice since my first visit, and I can confidently say that I will be a regular here from now on.
Good food. Reasonable prices. They have a lunch menu also. Service was pretty good but I was at a table of six people and they brought people's food out at different times. Most restaurants will try to bring everyone's food out at about the same time. Iwas stuck sitting there twiddling my thumbs while all my table mates were eating. Not cool.
