The inside is upscale casual with some cool eccentr... read more We finally got to visit the new location (Granby St just before the Riverview bridge) and we love the space. The inside is upscale casual with some cool eccentric pieces (like an elk horn chandelier). We sat in the bar area at a high top. We were near the kitchen and no issues with smoke or noise levels. Our servers were great and made sure to be considerate about their recommendations and pairing options. We started with the shishito peppers and tuna Crudo. Both were on the daily special menu and did not disappoint. The shishitos came with a deviled dipping sauce that was fantastic. For entrees we go the Butchers Cut (NY strip) and the Braised Short Ribs with elote veggies. The only thing I would change is adding a less salty side with the braised short ribs and elote veggies, it was delicious but a bit over salted. For dessert we got the corn pudding and it was insane! Not too sweet with a big dollop of whipped creme *chefs kiss* We can't wait to come back!

I have never had less than an excellent meal at LeGrand and I've been going for every special occasion (birthday, promotions, etc) since I moved to Norfolk 5 years ago. I love the new location, too. The service is great and I find the new look relaxing and inviting. I'm excited to bring my kids soon to try the new kids menu.
