Hey Charleys, a little tip from someone originally from Philly. Mayonnaise does NOT belong anywhere on a Philly cheesesteak. I’ve lived in Virginia Beach since 1995 and I have learned to specifically state “no mayonnaise” when ordering a Philly cheesesteak here. Unfortunately, many places still don’t listen. Every time I make a visit to Virginia Beach, I stop at Lynnhaven Mall. Everytime I stop at Lynnhaven Mall, I get Charleys. It's pretty much the same as all the rest, and it's a little overpriced, but it's a guaranteed fresh grilled chicken/steak sandwich and fresh fries, so it's the food court winner in my book.
