Grand Central Pizza - Virden

The Central is a great place to gather and have good food, reasonably priced, and great selection. The staff are friendly and efficient, comfortable seating,and good lighting.

Food is mostly home made or home grown food consequently the taste is notably flavourful!!! Brunch had adequate variety of breakfast lunch items in abundance

Stopped in here for lunch on a Thursday. the place was full. It looks like one of those places you would expect to get a meal like your grandma used to make. I thoroughly enjoyed the Chef's salad I ordered. It was a huge bowl of various vegetables along with plenty of chopped meat.

We ate two meals here. One was the breakfast special. Bacon and eggs but you can have either pan fries or deep fried potatoes. Then we had the Steak dinner special. You can have either baked potato or fries and it comes with ceasar salad and garlic toast. Everything we ate was really good and it tasted like homemade. Service was very good and the servers were friendly.

Had the hot beef, it was there in 5 minutes and was really good. I live in the road and I can see this being my home for the next few weeks. Comes with a starter and a starch. Very reasonable pricing. Friendly staff. Sports and pool tables. Great option other than Boston Pizza.
