They have a secret menu you have to ask about due to Covid that had special poutines on it. The BBQ Chicken and Taco Poutines tasted like angels dancing on my tastebuds only more heavenly. They also had Men at Work playing in the background. If your on the hippie trail with a head full zombie, and you need some calories to keep you fuelled. Will not be disappointed. P.S. they also Lions Club Mints. View all feedback.
What Chelsea Taylor doesn't like about Chicken Chef:
I asked for extra beef for my quesadilla... And they brought it out in a separate bowl instead of adding it to the meat inside the order plus it was cold. I was also charged around $5 to have the protein beef on top of the cost of the order itself then another $3 for the extra meat. Service: Dine in View all feedback.
Very good pizza Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20
I really like the Chicken Chef chain of restaurants, good hardworking people, providing a quality product at a fair price. Always delicious, always, friendly, fast and clean. I have never had a bad meal at Virden or Portage LaPrairie locations. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I don't get the hype honestly. Must be a nostalgia thing for locals. The chciken isn't anything special. Tastes pretty much like KFC. Meh at best. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
