Went down here today with my family, been always seeing them parked up next to a 7/11 around were I live and it always smelled amazing.I finally went to check it out and was excited to try it out when I got home, best pizza I’ve tasted in a while and I’ve tried many wood burned pizzas. Will be coming again! What Ed G doesn't like about A Fire Inside:
I have to say that the pizza was pretty good. Haven't had a chance to try out other pizzerias while here so I don't really have much to go on as far as comparison. Theres the usual chains here The Hut, Papa John's and domino's, I would never. So a pizzeria on wheels. Ive seen a few of these in other states but not in NY/NJ. I know that comparing a NYC slice of ah-Beetz to anything they can serve up out west would not... View all feedback.
Went there to try to get a pizza and there was no food truck. It says they're open til 7 I arrived before 630 and drove around and around and couldn't find it!
I love this place. Starting with the food truck business model, to the super friendly staff, to speedy service even when they are super busy, it is a great place to grab a very very good pizza. The pizza itself is a superb combination of quality toppings and semi thin crust cooked to perfection in a wood fired oven.I have never had poor service, less than perfect pizza for a reasonable price.
My only complaint is they are not open later for those nights I get sidetracked and don't notice the time. Hands down the best pizza I have ever had. I have become spoiled and only want pizza from here. Staff is also super friendly. I highly recommend!

I know that comparing a NYC slice of ah-Beetz to anything they can serve up out west would not be fair. But like I said it wasn't bad at all. But some of us get spoiled, specially when you find that perfect place and you make it your own. The toppings were good but the dough definitely had a different texture along with the ratio of sauce, oil and cheese. Probably needs a little tweaking but I would definitely give them another try next time I visit.
Delicious thin crust that’s perfectly cooked, a little crispy and chewy. Always good. Favorite pizza in the area and it’s fast and reasonably priced. This is the bbq chicken, but we added the fresh jalapeño ???
