KFC doesn't vary with it's menu and taste as each store cooks the same. The store at Mt Pleasant is no exception. With the store catering in the main to shoppers and workers it is kept busy therefore the food is freshly cooked and not left standing. Service was ok. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about KFC:
At 11.45am last week at the Mount Pleasant KFC's I purchased a meal. The chicken was very well cooked and was room temperature, the inside was cold. I came to the conclusion due to the time of the day that the chicken was cooked the day before, and reheated, but could not be heated to a safe temperature for safe consumption as the outside was burning. The Mackay community should be aware of what they are getting when they visit the KFC drive-thru on Nebo Rd. We waited in a long line assuming the food must be worth the wait. A young boy took our order through the speaker. We ordered a Christmas in July Feast for $53, asked to swap our potato and gravy for standard gravy, requested 2 extra small gravies, and a 600ml bottle of water. We specifically asked for ALL ORIGINAL RECIPE chicken. When we received our order, we found a large potato and gravy instead of the requested gravy, along with 2 small gravies. Additionally, all the chicken wings were Hot and Spicy, and the larger pieces were undercooked. We were very disappointed and could not fully enjoy our meal. We did not complain at the restaurant, but if KFC does not reach out to apologize and provide a credit on our order, we will not be returning. We will also share our experience to inform others about the poor service. Our order number was 964.

I have been 45-minute inline and only just being served now not good enough need more KFCs in Mackay
Surprisingly not bad kfc have really picked there game up since maccs come to oz and i would say its a quik easy selection ocasionally
So slow. No one getting any food. All orders were taken, but yawning staff slowly trying to filful orders. Terrible service. Couldn't have gone any slower if they actually tried.
