We had a nice four day stay at il piastrino. The place is beautifully located in the hills between olive trees and vineyards. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Although not everbody spoke english, we were quite able to communicate. The room was basic, but was clean and included everything we needed. We spent a dinner in this place which started perfectly. Beautiful, tasty starters on Your table. Then the place gets really crowded and You wait 45 minutes for somebody to serve You. Main dishes are nothing special. Interesting that You don’t know the price of the food You order, in the end You just receive a number to pay not a bill)... The food was homemade daily and so good. They gave you plenty too. Consisted of meats and pasta's. They serve appetizers and wine with every meal which is included in the awesome price.
We were 42 persons celebrating Zizi turning 60 year. Accomodation was super. Large rooms in different building. Pool area was perfect for hang around. A nice restaurant with superb Tuscanian food. All staff were serviceminded and helpful. We had a great week with great food and helpful personell
Excellent hospitality, with excellent Easter lunch with good and abundant fixed menu at a price (40€ all inclusive) more than honest. we also bought the wine to take us away to continue getting the memory of the trip.

I knew this place by chance, I was amazed by the beauty to the care of the place, and by the excellent cuisine! me and my girlfriend had dinner on 10/05/22 I have to say that I ate an exceptional tripe! never eaten in my life so well, I'm sure to bring with me this day and this culinary experience thanks also to the availability of the girl who made herself so available in serving us. soon
