Excellent service, excellent staff, and a balanced and very good meal.
This is the kind of local pub you always want, right on the corner – a reasonably priced menu, fresh and tasty. The place is very busy at lunchtime, and rightly so. We enjoyed it and the food was delicious.
Always well received, always well eaten, well located in the city center. Upstairs room during the week with breathtaking views of the central square and the church....
Excellent meal and very friendly staff
We went there for a death at 2 noon. Very tight timing. They managed very well despite a restaurant that was bursting at the seams. Impeccable service with a kindness very appreciated at these times. we ate very well there. And they were adorable and very kind to a person in a wheelchair. Well done the Equerre team and a very big THANK YOU

Very friendly. Service great also for us who spoke terrible French. The three course set menu was 14 euros. The big difference is that the food was great! Packed with locals always a good sign. This is the great food, good quality brasserie... I've always dreamed about it.
Absolute jewel of a place! the living heart of the city and somewhere that is deepened with a smile. I know people who traveled 30 miles for the coffee!
We stumbled on this bar with inviting outside seat in the sun. we just wanted to have a drink in the next city on our travels, but if we were asked for food, we said they had hired the service, disappointed, we were close to it. to laugh when the chef said he would make us a croque monsieur and a ham salad. it was delicious! the friendly service and the friendliness of the staff did not depart, especially for 2 foreign visitors. we would definitely recommend this place!
Simple straight forward good food. Service is excellent, ambience is great and very reasonable. Restaurant plus meals in the bar. Drinks only or food.
By Parisien standards not the most stylish place, however this bar and restaurant is the meeting place in Vimoutiers. A regular watering hole for locals it's always packed with farmers, local Artisans and tradesmen as well as family groups. The staff are wonderfully friendly particularly...if you're a regular. In warmer weather tables , chairs and umbrellas fill the pavement from where you can watch life go by. Once 12 o'clock arrives both ground and first floor are bustling with customers taking lunch. We tried omelette, frites with salad. Omelettes were fresh and light, and the salad although just lettuce was freshly crisp with a light dressing. As always bread is available as much as you can eat. Brilliant value for money
