I had a business lunch on madeira today and had a very pleasant experience. my group was a party of seven and our server was very helpful and attentive. we shar... read more I had a business lunch on madeira today and had a very pleasant experience. my group was a party of seven and our server was very helpful and attentive. we shared a foccacia bread with potatoes before our meal, and I had the beef. manzo cut beef with potatoes that was excellent. then I had a myrtle sorbet for dessert, which was refreshing. I would highly recommend madeira.

Madeira certainly did not disappoint. The Pizza was thin and crispy...and large. All our party enjoyed their pizza's and as the scilian in the group said if you do not have heartburn in the morning it was an excellent pizza and none of us did! Highly recommended though they did not however have menu's in English. And of course the venue itself was what I as a foreigner would consider classical italian and looked gorgeous.
